Applying to GEC
The application to attend Genesee Early College (GEC) is currently closed. GEC starts accepting applications in February for the following school year. An overview of the application process and the online application will be available at that time. Applications are accepted for incoming 9th, 10th, and 11th graders.
The application process is online, although printed applications will be available upon request. As part of the application process, applicants should plan to include or participate in the following:

Include 8th grade report card; or a high school transcript

Include a copy of the discipline and attendance profile; or a signed statement indicating there are no behavior records

Participate in the Star reading and math assessments to determine skill levels
